ABOUT ME

   Hi! My name is Alyssa and I'm a student from Missouri Southern State University studying abroad in Guayaquil, Ecuador for a semester. Back home I study Spanish and Medical Laboratory Science, but this semester is about the language, the culture, and the experiences.

     I want to keep my friends and family up to date without being that annoying person on Facebook with the really long posts, but I also want to share my journey with everyone else. When I first started researching schools in different countries, reading blogs by other students who had already studied abroad was an invaluable resource, but when I  became interested in Ecuador, I couldn't find any. So, now I'm here to do the job. I hope my blog will be helpful to other students looking at studying in Ecuador and I hope you enjoy the journey as much as I do.
